A daughter of Vietnamese Refugee parents, Lisa has always embraced and loved being fully American and fully Vietnamese. This is in everything, especially food. Doughnuts is Lisa’s love language not because it’s delicious (which it is) but doughnuts are a special memory that Lisa had with her late father, Hai. 

A trained baker and pastry chef, Lisa has worked with some amazing pastry chefs and always wanted to have something of her own but with purpose.

This is how HeyDay started. A memory of dad and a love for doughnuts. HeyDay was created to provide that same experience for everyone. It will be a bridge from flavors from east to west. How merging my American and Vietnamese roots will bring comfort and joy through doughnuts.
